Blue Jay Horizon

Navigating the Next Wave of EW Sensor Assurance

Meeting today’s needs & ready for what’s on the horizon

Today’s battlespace is defined by rapid, contested activity across the electromagnetic spectrum (EM). Command teams operate in crowded EM environments, where understanding how radars and EW systems perform under real-world conditions is critical to operational readiness.

Blue Jay Horizon is a containerised, deployable EW test and evaluation system that delivers electromagnetic stimulation of radar and communication receivers. It allows Defence forces to test, train, and adapt 24/7 across sea, land and air domains, ensuring operators can trust their sensors and respond confidently in operational theatres.

Frequency Range

Wideband RF generation of 20 MHz to 40 GHz supports the stimulation of highly complex signal scenarios.

Automated Tracking

Maintains accurate antenna alignment on moving vessels via gyro stabiliser, enabling consistent and reliable RF stimulation.

Compact & Mobile

Housed in a specialised highly transportable 10-foot ISO-certified secure container.

Remote Operation

Operators can control the entire unit remotely, improving safety and reducing set-up time.

Delivering Confidence in Complex Environments

Installed Performance Assurance
Through-air RF stimulation of EW and communications receivers, enabling crews to test and train under realistic conditions.
Flexible Scenarios
Simulate diverse electromagnetic conflict events, combining live exercises with real-world environment testing to challenge command teams.
Operational Efficiency & Readiness
Accelerate learning and build confidence in EW operators, providing essential skills to achieve electromagnetic manoeuvre superiority safely.
Asymmetric Threat Testing
Train against rapid, unanticipated threat sequences. Network multiple Blue Jay Horizons for repeatable multi-vector scenarios.
