The Industry Perspectives Forum explored one of the biggest challenges facing Defence capability today:
How do we accelerate innovation into operational capability?
During the discussion, Phil and Len challenged the EW community to look beyond identifying individual signals and instead consider how emitter behaviour develops over time — helping operators better understand intent, anticipate future actions and make more informed operational decisions.
Dr Len Sciacca’s presentation, From Signals to Behaviours: Closing the RF System Control Loop, took a deeper look at this shift and what it means as RF systems become increasingly adaptive and AI-enabled.
Developing, testing and assuring these capabilities will require new ways of thinking about how we understand and evaluate behaviour across the electromagnetic environment.
