Our team spent three fantastic days at AOC Australia-New Zealand 2026 in Canberra, engaging in conversations about EW innovations, systems integration through to defence capability gaps, real-world problems and potential approaches to solving these.
It was a pleasure to speak with senior Defence personnel, engineers, researchers, inventors, R&D teams, and to hear from a broad range of speakers from Defence, government and industry through some very engaging panels.
💡 A recurring theme across many discussions was speed to capability… How Defence and industry can move faster, iterate more quickly and upgrade systems.
💭 There was also a strong focus on lessons emerging from current conflicts and what the rapidly evolving modern battlefield means for future systems.
⚙️ In this context, agile, software-defined capabilities and adaptable architectures came up often.
